A lone Joshua tree stands against the evening sky, surrounded by the desert plants that make this landscape so unforgettable. This original linocut was inspired by the quiet beauty of Joshua Tree National Park and the stillness that settles over the desert as the light begins to fade.
Hand-printed using the color reduction relief printing process, each layer was carved and printed one at a time. Because the printing block is permanently carved away with each layer, every edition is limited and cannot be recreated once complete.
